Peanuts, of the "desi" variety, are grown 100% organically on our farm using ancient vedic farming techniques. The desi variety is smaller in size and irregular in shape as compared to the hybrid variety, which is usually available in the market. The desi variety is considered more nutritious and has a sweet taste.
Peanuts are rich in protein, fat, and fiber. While peanuts may have a large amount of fat, most of the fats they contain are known as “good fats.” These kinds of fats actually help lower your cholesterol levels. According to Ayurveda, this is among the very few of the nature's bounties that help balance all three "doshas"--kapha, vatta and pitt.
